INTERNALISASI NILAI MENURUT PERSPEKTIF PROGRESSIVISME (SUATU ANALISIS AKSIOLOGI)

The purpose of this study is to understand and describe the axiological analysis from the perspective of progressivism. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach. The type of research used is library research, which focuses on data obtained from literature such as books as its primary source. The data obtained from the research results are analyzed using a descriptive method. Based on the findings of the research, it is revealed that the internalization of values is a process of instilling something valuable (values) in an individual's soul, so that these values can characterize or be reflected in attitudes and behaviors manifested in everyday life (integrated into one's personality). The internalization of values becomes a benchmark for the success of education, emphasizing not only knowledge but also the attitude that refers to values and the skills to practice them. Progressivism plays a significant role in the development of education, particularly in the understanding and implementation of genuine education. Education should be organized by considering various abilities possessed by learners and making an effort to prepare them to face and solve problems encountered in their social environment. In progressivism, axiology plays a crucial role in shaping an education centered on the individual, allowing students to understand and internalize values that are essential for their moral, social, and intellectual development. This approach considers values as an integral part of the learning experience and holistic self-development.
