PENGGUNAAN MEDIA PAPAN FLANEL DALAM MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA HURUF HIJAIYAH SISWA KELAS I SD NEGERI 08 JULI
Abstract
This study aims to examine the improvement in the ability to read hijaiyah letters among first-grade students at SD Negeri 08 Juli in the chapter “I Love the Qur’an” focusing on the pronunciation of hijaiyah letters and their harakat using Flannel Board media. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research, which consists of 2 (two) cycles over 4 meetings. The data collection techniques used are observation, performance assessment, and documentation study. The research subjects consist of 15 students, including 7 (seven) male students and 8 (eight) female students. The results of the study show that the students’ ability to read hijaiyah letters, based on the average score in the pre-action activities, was 48.33 (very poor category). Meanwhile, after using the flannel board media in the learning material, the average performance score of the students increased to 62.13 (sufficient category) in the first cycle and 71.53 (good category) in the second cycle.
