Journal of Indonesian Social and Islamic Sciences (JISIS) Volume 1 No. 2 Year 2023 is a scientific journal published by the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) IAI Almuslim Aceh. The articles in this journal present the results of research conducted by researchers who focus on issues related to local wisdom, Islamic economics, politics, education, law, and philosophy. In this edition there are 6 articles with authors from 6 different campuses, namely the Almuslim Aceh Islamic Institute, Yogyakarta State University, Curup Bengkulu State Islamic Institute, Alauddin Makassar State Islamic University, Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta State Islamic University and Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh State Islamic University

With the publication of this journal, it is hoped that it can contribute to the development of Islamic studies, as well as be useful for scholars, intellectuals, academics, and enthusiasts of social/religious sciences in order to increase research and writing capacity.
