Ekranisasi Novel Layla Majnun karya Nizam Ganjavike dalam Film “Layla Majnun” karya Monty Tiwa

The presence of equalization in the development of modern literature is increasing rapidly due to the encouragement of technological advances. Therefore, the phenomena that occur in the transfer of novels into films can be studied indirectly because they are part of the various changes that have occurred in the world of literature. This study discusses the literary equalization of Layla Majnun's novel into the Layla Majnun film by finding various changes from the novel to film form such as subtracting, adding, and changing variations. The purpose of this article is (1) to describe the story in the novel Layla Majnun by Nizam Ganjavi, (2) to describe the story in the film Layla Majnun directed by Monty Tiwa, (3) to describe the differences and similarities between the novel Layla Majnun by Nizam Ganjavi and the film Layla Majnun directed by Monty Tiwa. The data sources for this resear ch are the novel Layla Majnun by Nizam Ganjavi and the film Layla Majnun. The method used in this study is the comparative method, namely comparing the changes that occurred in the equalization of Layla Majnun's novel into the Layla Majnun film. The analysis technique was carried out using the Ecranization Theory which refers to Pamusuk Ernest's Ecranization view. Data collection techniques using observation and note-taking techniques. The results of this study indicate that there is data reduction, data addition, and variations in the literary organization of Layla Majnun's novel into Layla Majnun's film. Overall, the organization of literature from novel to film greatly influences the storyline of the characters Layla and Majnun which are visualized through feature films.
