Zakat and infaq are two important instruments in Islam that play a significant role in improving the social and economic welfare of the people. Zakat, as one of the pillars of Islam, is an obligation for every qualified Muslim to give part of his wealth to those who are entitled, such as the poor, orphans, and those in need. Infaq, on the other hand, is a voluntary giving from a Muslim that is not bound by time or a certain amount, but has the same goal of helping those in need. The community empowerment program in managing zakat and infaq in Gampong Mon Geudong is designed to address these challenges by providing the knowledge, skills, and systems needed for the community to manage zakat and infaq effectively. This program aims to increase community awareness and participation in managing zakat and infaq, as well as ensuring that the funds collected can be distributed fairly and on target. The community empowerment program in managing zakat and infaq in Gampong Mon Geudong is designed with a comprehensive, participatory, and applicable approach. The design of this program aims to provide in-depth knowledge, practical skills, and an organized system in managing zakat and infaq.
