The development of a sharia microfinance system in rural areas is a strategic effort to increase community access to financial services that comply with sharia principles. This research aims to identify the needs of rural communities, develop training programs, and form business groups that can facilitate access to business capital. The method used in this research is a participatory approach, where the community is involved in every stage of program development. This research concludes that the development of sharia microfinance systems in rural areas not only increases community access to financial services, but also contributes to economic and social empowerment. However, challenges such as a lack of in-depth understanding of Islamic finance principles and limited access to information and technology still need to be overcome. Therefore, recommendations for future research and practice include developing sustainable financial education programs, increasing access to technology, and strengthening social networks among business group members.
