Abstract

In the environmental concept, Islam recognizes an area that is specifically protected by the government (state imam or caliph) on the basis of sharia for the purpose of preserving wild life and forests because in essence humans without religion will become creatures who will continue to cause damage (fasad), with religion humans will realize how to remind each other and maintain balance (tawazzun) to act as they should, looking at nature as the place where we live. Ecosystem balance is a condition where the interactions between the components in it take place in harmony and balance. The balance of this ecosystem has a significant impact on the harmony and welfare of humans and other living creatures.
