Hiwalah is the transfer of receivables from one person's responsibility to another person's responsibility. The hiwalah principle is applied in sharia banks in the form of bai' al-istishna and bai' al-salam products. The bai' al-istishna product is a receivables coverage mechanism by sharia banks for customers who have debt obligations for financing physical projects. Sharia banks will gain profits based on profit sharing from projects carried out by customers. Meanwhile, the bai' al-salam product is a mechanism for covering receivables by sharia banks for customers who carry out non-cash buying and selling transactions. Supporting factors for the development of the hiwalah principle in bai' al-istishna and bai' al-salam products in sharia banks are the positive performance of all leaders, staff and employees of sharia banks who have a strong commitment to sharia economic development, good managerial skills , and mental attitude (honesty) and trust to serve the community as well as possible. : Hiwalah, Applications, Bai' Al-Istishna' Products, Sharia Bank
