The research aims to explain the law of money politics in elections according to Islamic law. This research is classified as normative legal research, namely library research that explores relevant legislation and fiqh (Islamic law) literature using a qualitative approach. The results of the discussion of this research can be concluded that the practice of money politics in the name of alms, grants, gifts and other social assistance is legally positive and fiqh still illegal and haram, because in practice there is no assistance in elections that is free, but rather the objective decision of the community. has been forced by the exchange or transaction of votes with political positions, therefore it has fulfilled the element of risywah, namely blaming what is right or justifying what is wrong, or (ibthal al haq wa tahqiqi al bathil).
