Abstract

This research was motivated by the low ability of teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Samudera, North Aceh Regency in carrying out learning activities. To improve the ability of class teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Samudera, North Aceh Regency in carrying out learning activities, the author feels it is necessary to conduct research. The alternative problem solving that the author chose in carrying out this research was through the implementation of classroom visit supervision activities. The approach used in this research is qualitative research. The research subjects were teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Samudera, North Aceh Regency for the 2021/2022 academic year, involving 6 people. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that implementing classroom visit supervision can improve teachers' abilities in carrying out learning activities at SMA Negeri 1 Samudera, North Aceh Regency for the 2021/2022 academic year. This can be proven from the results of observations which show that there is an increase in teachers' ability to carry out learning from cycle to cycle. In the initial condition, the average classical achievement score was 42.82 in the LESS (K) category, increasing to 67.82 in the ENOUGH (C) category in cycle I, then increasing again to 86.11 in the GOOD (B) category in implementation of cycle II, and individually per teacher from 2 people or 33.33% in the first cycle increased to 100% or 6 teachers in the second (final) cycle.
